Job Description

We are looking for an analytical, results-driven backend developer who will work with team members to troubleshoot and improve current backend applications and processes. Reporting directly to the Head of Development, the Backend Developer will use his or her understanding of programming languages and tools to analyze current codes and industry developments, formulate more efficient processes, solve problems, and create a more seamless experience for users. Responsibilities will also include compiling and analyzing data, processes, and codes to troubleshoot problems and identify areas for improvement; collaborating with the front-end developers and other team members to establish objectives and design more functional, cohesive codes to enhance the user experience; developing ideas for new programs, products, or features by monitoring industry developments and trends; participating in continuing education and training to remain current on best practices, learn new programming languages, and better assist other team members; taking lead on projects, as needed.


  • More than 3 years of experience in the role
  • Deep knowledge of C# language, .NET Framework, .NET Core
  • Good knowledge of microservice architectures, Docker containerization, Kubernetes orchestration.
  • Familiarity with relational databases (SQL-Server, Oracle, MySQL) and non-relational databases (Elasticsearch, DynamoDB)
  • Knowledge of S.O.L.I.D. software development principles and design patterns
  • Strong understanding of asynchronous programming and parallel programming techniques
  • Strong understanding of the development cycle and programming techniques and tools.
  • Knowledge of cloud-based solutions (Azure, AWS)
  • Experience with testing and debugging.
  • English B1 level

Nice to have

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer programming, computer science, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of Python
  • Knowledge of industrial protocols for data acquisition (MODBUS, OPC-DA, OPC-UA, IEC 60870-5-104, MQTT)
  • Knowledge of Apache Kafka
  • English B2 or C1 level
