Job Title: Methods Engineer

Location: Red Oak, TX

Remote/Onsite: Day 1 onsite at customer location

Only Contracting: $55/hr

Manufacturing domain, Shop Floor support, Methods Engineering

Exposure to Aircraft Primary, Secondary Structures and Systems

Observe the assembly operations on shop floor and Document and photograph any shop aids not mentioned in the current work instructions (WI) and compile a list of these aids by workbook for customer.

Identify any 'Condition of Supply' (COS) documents that need to be created or revised for parts requiring configuration changes and provide a list by part number and workbook for the customer

Conduct a product condition check via a Last Article Inspection (LAI) on the customer site production line.

Capture any undocumented "Shop Aids and provide report to customer

Prepare or review Last article inspection documentation.

Write and revise assembly instruction guides or manufacturing instruction guides for the manufacturing or assembly of aircraft components.

Interpret, verify and approve drawings and other engineering documents

Develop assembly and manufacturing strategies for aircraft components.

Harmonize the implementation of engineering changes or assembly strategies by working in close collaboration with Engineering, Parts Logistics, Quality and Production

Participation in periodic internal/external reviews

Should be able to perform with minimal guidance

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Organized and able to meet deadlines
