About the role:
Develop new apps and technologies for one of our international clients in a multicultural and fast-paced environment focused on consulting style of support for our client.
Responsibilities:
o Participating in requirement gathering sessions
o Meeting with Client business analyst to understand requirements
o Meeting with Solution Architects to design whole application framework
o Meeting with client project manager for planning deliverables, timeline, resource estimation etc
o Identifies areas for process improvement.
o Maintains appropriate communication within the team and across various teams (i.e. internal and external).
o Considerable leadership experience in a similar environment.
o Perform proof of concepts to evaluate different solutions for suitability
o Support the solution through deployment and operations
o Participate in the ongoing development roadmap
o Strong analytical ability
o Ability to work with all teams and understand code changes and review business requirements and identify any gaps
o Exhibit integrity in all decisions and actions
o Excellent oral and written communication skills is a must
What they’re looking for:
-At least 5 years of experience in the Role or similar positions
-English advanced required.
-5+ years of experience in designing and developing Java based enterprise web applications. Including Unit Testing with any tool
-4+ years of experience in design, development, deployment, and maintenance of cloud native Microservices applications (API)
-Hands-on experience of building secure Web Applications: Authentication and Authorization - OAUTH, OIDC, JWT, TLS, Encryption, OWASP etc.
-Experience with the following modules of Spring: Spring Framework, Spring Cloud, Spring Boot, Spring Data, Spring Security.
-Thorough knowledge of modern day, distributed applications Design Patterns
-Strong Experience in Java 8 +, solid hands-on experience of core modules such as Concurrency, Collections, Generics, Functional Interfaces, --Stream API, Reactive Programming, Lambda Expressions etc.
-Development experience in any Public Cloud environment such as AWS, GCP, AZURE, etc.
-Excellent communication skill and ability to work in agile team environment using Scrum Methodology (must have experience in agile working environment).
Nice to have:
- Thorough with Test Driven Development
- Thorough understanding of and hands-on with Docker & Kubernetes
- Development experience in PaaS Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform
- Development experience in PaaS: Pivotal Application Service (PAS) / Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF)
- Thorough understanding and experience of programming paradigms like Test Driven Development and Behavior Development. Ability to write highly testable code which is written in a modular fashion with proper segregation of responsibilities and based on industry proven design patterns.
- Exposure to Enterprise agile collaboration tools: JIRA, Confluence etc.
- Exposure to the following modules of Spring: Spring for Apache Kafka, Spring Batch, Spring WebFlux
- Experience with some enterprise grade SQL and No-SQL DB e.g., Oracle, MySQL, Mongo, Cassandra etc.
- Experience with Banking and Finance domain
