Accounts Receivable - Collections Associate

Position Overview

We are seeking an AR - Collections Associate to manage the collections for Concierge and related programs.

This role involves coordination with internal finance and accounting teams, new ventures, agents, clients, and third-party providers involved in these programs. Key responsibilities include reconciliation, reporting, and collections.

The successful candidate will work closely with the accounting team and various departments to ensure consistent application of policies and procedures while driving continuous improvement initiatives. The Collections Associate will be responsible for resolving issues, managing escalations, and addressing contract disputes, with a strong emphasis on collections.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the end-to-end accounting, reconciliation, and reporting of loan programs.
  • Collaborate with accounting, operational teams, agents, and clients across the United States.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by proactively addressing and resolving issues.
  • Manage collections for loan programs and other receivables.
  • Serve as a liaison with operational finance teams to standardize collection efforts across various markets.
  • Drive process improvement initiatives and streamline loan program procedures.
  • Ensure effective control measures are in place, collaborating with the accounting team on enhancements.
  • Assist in the analysis of allowance for doubtful debts with the accounting team.
  • Create and distribute accurate internal and external reports.
  • Support annual financial audit requirements.
  • Address inquiries related to loan programs from both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Undertake special projects as assigned.

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably in Business, Management, or a related field.

Experience

  • Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience focused on accounts receivable.
  • Experience with a Big 4 accounting firm is preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of residential real estate is a plus.
  • Experience in consulting firms or large multinational businesses is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with working across multiple geographical entities is preferred.

Certifications

  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is a plus.
