As an Engineering Team Lead you will:

  • Lead and manage the engineering team (4 - 5 developers), including hiring, mentoring, and performance management
  • Work closely with product managers to develop the technology roadmap, ensuring that it aligns with business objectives
  • Define and drive the technical strategy, including making important architecture decisions that enable the development of scalable, reliable, and high-performance software
  • Establish and maintain coding standards, engineering best practices, and development processes to ensure quality, scalability, and maintainability of the software
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that products are delivered on time and to the highest quality standards
  • Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

You’ll be a great fit if you have:

  • At least 8 years of experience in software engineering, with a strong track record of leading engineering teams and delivering complex, scalable software products
  • Proficiency with Node and Backend Development
  • Experience with Frontend Development
  • Enjoy building things from scratch in a high-paced startup environment
  • Experience building and hiring high-performing teams, with a focus on diversity and inclusivity
  • Deep knowledge of software architecture, design patterns, and development best practices
  • Experience with multiple programming languages, frameworks, and tools, with a focus on cloud-native architectures, microservices, and APIs
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and project management tools
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills
